Dirt Riot Father’s Day Weekend Tradition Continues at Colorado Off Road Extreme Park
Dirt Riot Endurance 4×4 Racing Saturday June 18th Starting at 11am at CORE
Since Dirt Riots inception 5 years ago, Father’s Day weekend has always been spent in Colorado as part of the Dirt Riot Mountain Series. This year, the race will be held at Colorado Off Road Extreme Park in Agate, CO hosting a bit of a different schedule, qualifying starting at 11am and racing going into the dark hours where racers can utilize their KC HiLites light bars. Pro Classes will qualify Saturday at 11am, UTV and stock classes will take the green flag at 3pm, with the rest of the classes, including the Pro 4400 4×4 class following. Racing will end, and the awards ceremony will immediately follow, at approximately 9:30pm.
“We are really looking forward to this race and kicking off the 2016 Dirt Riot Mountain Series! With close to a 10 mile track, and utilizing the rocks onsite, teams will see a course that is close to 50% different than last year,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events. “With temperatures in the 90’s and a 10mph breeze forecasted, the CORE track should be fast and possibly not very dusty. A perfect combination for a dusk to dark race.”
